Tudor Merchant's Knitted Hat Workshop

The Knitting History Forum will be hosting a 'Tudor Merchant's Knitted Hat Workshop' on Saturday 15th March 2014 at the London College of Fashion, 20 John Princes St, London.

Gary Hayton of Bournemouth University will lead workshop participants through the details of stitch type and tensions, felting and basic structure and shaping of knitted hats in the Tudor style. Participants will then sample and make their own Merchant's hat.

Wool and patterns will be provided. Participants should bring their own double pointed needles, stitch markers, scissors and lunch. Tickets cost £15 for KHF Members and £20 for non-members. The workshop is limited to 15 places.
